Calyx Managed Services has appointed Steve Clark as its new CEO. Clark is a highly-experienced IT and telecommunications professional with particular expertise in managed services and connectivity. His appointment follows Calyx’s recent 15% year-on-year growth in its core business and marks an exciting new phase for the company at a time when demand for fast-evolving technologies such as unified communications is creating major market opportunities.
Clark previously held the position of operations director at Azzurri where he was responsible for operations and customer relations and before this he helped found the software company, Everlogic.
In his new role, Clark will be building on the success of Martin Mackay who was appointed by Better Capital when it acquired Calyx almost two years ago. Mackay was brought on board to redefine the vision, strategy and methods of the business. According to Better Capital Group CEO, Fiona Timothy, “since that time the progress the entire team has made has been excellent. On behalf of the board and everyone at Calyx, I would like to thank Martin for what he has done for the business and for leaving us with such a strong foundation for the future.”
She adds: “Looking forward, Steve’s expertise, combined with his firm belief that exceptional customer service is a major cornerstone of business success, make him the perfect choice of leader to drive Calyx into its next stage of growth and development.”
Clark will take over from Mackay at the end of August.
